What we store on your device
Your keybind layout, colour theme, local Race and Combat boards, Combo practice history, and recent Daily Challenge bests stay in browser local storage. Clearing site data deletes them. Local runs are not uploaded to servers unless you are signed in before the run and it meets that mode's global leaderboard rules.
Account, leaderboard and analytics data
If you sign in by email, Google or Yandex, Better Auth stores your profile name or email, linked account information where applicable, and session token. Resend processes your email address and one-time code to deliver email sign-in messages. Global leaderboards store one eligible best per signed-in user for Race and Combo, plus one best per UTC date for Daily Challenge, including the score metrics needed to rank it. Google Analytics 4 and Plausible may process the page URL, referrer, browser and device information, interaction events, and an IP-derived approximate location to measure aggregate use. Plausible states that it uses no cookies or persistent identifiers and does not store raw IP addresses.
Cookies and similar technologies
Better Auth uses necessary secure session cookies after sign-in. Browser local storage keeps your keybinds, theme and offline race history. Google Analytics and advertising providers may place or read cookies and use local storage, pixels or web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers. These technologies support analytics, ad selection or personalization where permitted, frequency capping, measurement, and fraud or security controls.
Advertising providers and data sharing
Advertising uses approximate country information: RU, UA, BY, KZ, MD, KG, AM and UZ use Yandex Advertising Network; other identified countries use Google AdSense. No advertising network is selected when the country is unknown. One network is selected per document. These providers and their partners may process page URLs, IP addresses, approximate location, browser or device information, cookies or identifiers, and ad interactions to deliver and measure ads. We do not send your sign-in email to advertising providers or sell or rent personal data. Google and Yandex also provide optional sign-in, Google Fonts serves fonts, and Valve hosts game media.
Advertising choices and privacy controls
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser and use the provider or industry controls below. Turning off personalized advertising does not stop contextual or limited ads. We do not request precise GPS location; country routing uses approximate request information. For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google requires a certified consent-management platform where applicable. That consent interface has not yet been deployed on this site, so the browser and provider controls below remain the available choices. This privacy policy is a disclosure, not a consent control.
Children
The site is a keyboard muscle-memory practice tool and is not directed at children under 13. Children should not create an account or publish leaderboard scores without permission from a parent or guardian.
Changes and contact
You can sign out at any time. To request deletion of your account, session or leaderboard record, please reach out via the contact page. If this policy is updated, the date above will reflect the revision.
